Summers coming - here are some beauty tips for the heat wave...

If you're starting to enjoy the longer evenings and now contemplating venturing out to a cool bar or even a wonderful restaurant with a friend or the new hot date, then here are few beauty tips to get you started!!!!!!!


Long eyelashes are the easiest way to get noticed!
Wearing a thin line of eyeliner and giving it a sexy flick at the end will give the illusion of longer lashes. If you feel daring, why not apply false lashes to really give the eyes a dramatic effect that you can flirt with all night!!! But don't worry... there are now more natural looking fake lashes on the market so I assure you, you will not look like Jodie Marsh! De puff me!!!
Need to make your eyes look wide awake? Try dipping a couple of chamomile tea bags in a cup of ice and water and then placing them on your closed eyes for 10 minutes. This will reduce puffiness instantly, so no one need know when you've had a late night!!!

Going Going... Gone!

Finally it’s that time of year when we get to shed the heavy layers of winter clothing to reveal... unkempt feet and unwanted hair! Yikes!

Well save us all the sight (Oooo) and jump into spring with these great products and treatments…

Hair Lightening Creams
These creams gently lighten dark hair on the body and face, usually resulting in cute 'blondish' hairs giving you that bright sun-kissed look...as if you've just been on holiday! Use around the chin, mouth, sides of the face and other areas like arms, back, belly, chest… Find hair lightening creams in all good beauty stores.

Threading
What is it? Threading is the ancient eastern art of precisely removing facial hair from the root using twists of cotton thread. Becoming increasingly popular in the West, it is especially good for shaping eyebrows and removing hair from the upper lip, forehead and chin. When done expertly threading is fast with a mild twinge and the results last for up to 3 weeks. All thread is discarded after use and as such makes threading one of the most hygienic methods of hair removal. It's fast too as threading any one area of the face takes less than 10 minutes.

If you haven’t already tried threading… it is the perfect, more precise, facial hair removal alternative to waxing, depilatory creams, tweezing or laser, especially if you have sensitive skin. Unlike laser hair removal, waxing or the use of depilatories; irritation and skin rashes are avoided as the top layer of your skin is not stripped off in the process. Also, since threading is a completely natural skin removal process, it works on all skin types, whether you have normal skin, sensitive skin, tanned or damaged skin.

Threading is my personal favourite and I highly recommend it… especially for the perfect eyebrows.

Waxing
But then again… if all of that sounds a bit much for you… just have it all waxed off!!!! Nothing beats waxing when you need to remove hair by the mass load! Threading is no good for arms, legs, pits or bikini lines! and then there are the stray hairs that you can sometimes get on your knuckles and toes!! Get rid!

Professional Pedicure
Start spring with a professional pedicure... I tell you, there's just nothing better! Have your feet soaked and get them thoroughly exfoliated. Tidy those awful cuticles and finish off with the perfect polish!!

Heel Creams & Cuticle Oils
Maintain what the hardworking pedicurist gave you by applying a daily dose of foot & heel creams and cuticle oils to keep your feet soft and dry cuticles tame.

Home Pedicures
On a budget? Save on visiting the salon and do your own pedicure at home using the professional Creative Spa pedicure range. Get at least a dozen pedicures from one kit! Here is a tip for successfully smoothing and softening hard, dry heels at home - soak your feet in fairly warm water (as warm as you can stand) with a good foot soak for up to and over an hour - do this whilst watching a movie and find that the dead dry layer comes off with just a little rubbing.


Look great and feel comfortable wearing short-sleeved tops, dresses, slippers, swim suits... feel comfortable and enjoy Spring!
